I am perplexed...

Perez Hilton poses a question to Miss California that he knows will elicit an answer to incite angst and discontent. What about? Gay marriage and her belief.

So, when she provides the answer regarding her beliefs, folks get angry and she loses. I have to say that I wonder about these tactics. If she were a lesbian, and a question was raised about her beliefs on Christianity and those comments were felt to cost her the Miss USA title, the judges would be tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail as well as the young lady winning being stripped of her title and having it given to the lesbian. Not only that, we would hear the endless detritus from the gay community about the panel being bigoted and biased as well as homophobic.

I would like to say right now that I think this Perez Hilton is immensely bigoted. He is a bigot of the highest order. The method in which his "rights" are foisted upon folks like Miss California and me via the Judicial system rather than how it should be done (as defined by our founding Fathers, via legislation) is immensely unfair and illegal in my opinion.

Ever wonder why this community hasn't pursued a similar measure outside the judicial system? Because it would lose. There's no chance for it to pass. None at all. Regardless of what the President says, this is basically a Christian nation, and morality of this sort wins. Immorality doesn't.

Frankly, I don't know why the radical gay community wants marriage. It seems to me they are so anti-religious that they'd sprint away from marriage. It is essentially a Christian institution. Perhaps they pursue this hateful course because they hate Christians. Again, let's use the English language properly. This is a classic definition of bigotry.

One wonders where this country is headed. We seem to have quite a few folks in political and judicial leadership positions that are promoting a very narrow mindset on the people of this great nation. And, if you don't fit into that mindset, you are essentially emasculated as a human, and cast aside. All sorts of hateful, defamatory, and bigoted slurs are hurled at these folks in an attempt to marginalize and engender fear into them.

Next thing you know, the Homeland Security folks will don new uniforms, and be either impressing the dissenting (read "Moral") community into reeducation camps (Sound familiar?) or stripping them of their nationality and ejecting them from the country. Sounds farfetched, but I believe that this is where America is headed. The slippery slope is being greased heavily by the political radicals in the democratic party.
